Fain is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and completed his MBA at Nyenrode University (Netherlands) in 1996 after receiving a scholarship to attend. He is 50 years old.
A strongly analytical, project-based person who enjoys environments which foster independent autonomy, results orientation and professional leadership. “I thrive on achievement and adding value to my clients”. His experience base over more than 20 years covers a broad range of operations.
He spent a number of years working both nationally and internationally, with both service and manufacturing organisations, primarily in Consulting and Corporate Finance and looks to work with organisations that have a professional, collaborate culture and strongly subscribe to the values of integrity, honesty and fairness.
On the personal front:
A family man with a supportive wife and two young sons who is energised by spending quality time with his family.
He has a keen interest in sport having competed in:
- Powerlifting and Weightlifting;
- Rugby;
- Squash and;
- In recent years spends time in the gym.
